The Berlin wall fell in November 1991. The Soviet Union was dissolved in December 1991. This is the latest release of this book originally written and published in 1991. Consequently, the original core of the book, Chapters 1-9 & 12 were written just prior to these momentous events. It may seem that the references to Communism are a bit out of date, but this is not so. Communism is still alive and well. American politics is openly pro-socialist, with 2020 candidates running to “out-socialist” each other. So this book is just as timely and applicable to today’s social and political environment as it was in 1991.
